This involves assessments/ ultrasound/ taping bracing/ acupuncture/ massage
The clinic provides the injury rehabilitation service through orthopedic assassements, followed by the use of therapeutic modalities such as sports massage, acupuncture and ultrasound the aim here is relieve pain, increase your range of motion and begin the healing process. This is then completed with a physical rehabilitation programme design specifically for the individual.
We offer deep tissue/ sports massage if you need some relief from tight muscles after training and or for pre and post competition preparation.
Caliper Testing one of the most accurate ways to assess body fat percentage. During this session your BMI and girth measurements are also taken and presented to you at the end of the appointment. At which time your therapist can advise you on how to achieve your goals
All Rehabilitators are also Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS). At SISC we train elite athletes through strength and conditioning training to enhance their performance, developing strength, power and speed for any sport. We currently work closely with Judo, Boxing, Tennis & Football. As all the rehabilitators at SISC are qualified strength & conditioning specialists they can also help more recreational patients return to full fitness and help them achieve above and beyond their peak fitness targets through a strength & Conditioning Programme.
Women On Weights was designed just for women. We hold group training classes for women of all ages and abilities. The courses are 5 weeks long and during this time you will learn how to lift weights safely and effectively.
At your first visit your rehabilitator will carry out a full orthopedic assessment of the condition for which you are seeking help.
This begins with a detailed medical history and questions related to the pain and discomfort you may have.
Followed by a physical assessment of you, starting with posture and progressing to the injured limb or area.
Once a diagnosis has been made this information is helpful in formulating and personalising your treatment programme. It is also used as a measure of your progress.
